Case Study - Louise Fowen & Gemma Storey
Louise’s lightbulb moment: From stuck to finding her spark again
Things had gone a bit quiet…
Louise is a brilliant copywriter who writes words that actually sound like you - full of personality and purpose. But like a lot of creatives recently, she’d been feeling the pressure. With AI generated content becoming more common, work had slowed down. She felt stuck, unsure how to move forward, and a bit like she’d lost her mojo.
One little meetup changed everything
She joined us for one of our in-person collaborative coworking sessions. A little monthly perk exclusive to our Pink Coral members. We get together in a calm and private room to chat, catch up, and support each other in whatever way we need. It’s not about getting loads of tasks ticked off. (We can do that at home). It’s about something more powerful. Having the right conversations. Building closer connections. And getting unstuck.
That day, Louise came along feeling a bit fragile. But she found the courage to share where she was at. And, as always, the fab women in the room showed up with kindness, honesty, and loads of ideas. We talked things through, swapped stories, and reminded Louise just how much she has to offer.
A lightbulb moment (and a LOT of excitement)
A few days later, she messaged the group saying something had shifted. She’d had one of those lightbulb moments that can only come from feeling truly heard. She had a new business name (Your Copy Companion), fresh ideas for her services, and the kind of clarity and excitement that had been missing for a long time.
A mix of content planning, writing and hands-on support to help small business owners finally get their words out into the world. It’s everything you’d expect from a copywriter with that sharp eye for tone and messaging. Plus, a bit of clever AI in the mix (used wisely, not robotically). It’s practical, thoughtful, and so needed.
Community vibes in full flow
And because the Pink Coral Community is full of women who genuinely want to see each other win, things didn’t stop there. Gemma, our resident brand alchemist, offered to take Louise’s new DIY logo and give it a glow-up. She didn’t just design a new version. She filmed the whole process, shared her thoughts, and turned it into an amazing behind-the-scenes video for her YouTube series.
“This shit just got real”
Once the new logo was created, Louise said she finally felt ready to share it all. She was excited about her business in a way she hadn’t felt in ages. “Eeek... this shit just got real” she told us in our group chat, and we were all buzzing for her. Seeing Gemma’s design skills in action was such a moment. She’s honestly so talented, and this just showed what happens when women support each other without hesitation.
What Pink Coral is really all about
This is the power of finding your people.
Of showing up, even when you’re not feeling your best.
Of being surrounded by women who get it and want to help you thrive.
Louise didn’t just leave that coworking session with a new idea. She left with clarity, motivation, and a support system cheering her on every step of the way.
And that, in a nutshell, is what Pink Coral is all about - As Louise put it herself, “I wouldn’t be in this place if it wasn’t for you and the wonderful Pink Coralers.”
A little sentence that says a lot.
