A cosmic and creative collab – The workshops: where astronomy meets fused glass art

Some collaborations come from a pitch. Others start with a casual chat, a cool idea, and a “ I think this could actually work.”

That’s exactly what happened when Dr Sarah Crick, astrophysicist and founder of Mission Astro, met Jane Connell from The Glass Duck through the Pink Coral Community.

They didn’t plan a collab. They just connected, built a relationship and talked about their passions and work, and slowly realised that their two very different worlds had more in common than they thought.

Louise’s lightbulb moment: From stuck to finding her spark again.

Louise is a brilliant copywriter who writes words that actually sound like you – full of personality and purpose. But like a lot of creatives recently, she’d been feeling the pressure. With AI generated content becoming more common, work had slowed down. She felt stuck, unsure how to move forward, and a bit like she’d lost her mojo. Then she came to a Pink Coral meetup… and everything changed.

Jo Allen: Finding her people & growing her business at Pink Coral.

When Jo Allen joined Pink Coral in January 2025, she was still figuring out the whole ‘talking about my business’ thing. Running a coaching business is fairly new to her, and like so many of us, she wanted a space where she could get support, bounce ideas around, and just feel a bit less like she was doing it all on her own. A few months in, and she’s already made some amazing connections, landed new opportunities, and well and truly found her people.
